Jebel Ali

Jebel Ali is a deep port located in Jebel Ali Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Jebel Ali is the world's largest man-made harbor and the biggest port in the Middle East. Port Jebel Ali was constructed in the late 1970s to supplement the facilities at Port Rashid.

Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA), built over an area of 48 square kilometers, ranks among the world's largest and the fastest growing free zones. It is known for world-class infrastructure, amenities, incentives and unparalleled logistic infrastructure. The Zone has posted more than 320 times growth in its number of companies between 1985 and 2009.

The Zone is expected to grow further as it is located between Jebel Ali Port, the world's 6th largest seaport, and the upcoming AI Maktoum International Airport, the world's largest cargo airport. JAFZA, owing to its strategic location, is the only free zone in the world to be located between the two major logistic enablers.
